The PHDT’s 32nd Annual General Meeting, held at the prestigious “Grand Monarch” in Thalawathugoda on 28th March, marked a significant milestone in our commitment to community empowerment and excellence. The event brought together key stakeholders to reflect on the achievements of the past year and outline future initiatives.
A significant highlight of the event was the awarding of special scholarships to 44 students from the plantation community who secured university entrance for the academic year 2023/2024. These scholarships, made possible through the generous support of donors, reaffirm PHDT’s commitment to fostering educational opportunities and uplifting the plantation sector’s youth.
Additionally, PHDT recognized excellence within its operations by awarding the Best Regional Office, selected based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The best-performing Regional Office was recognized for its outstanding contributions and commitment to service excellence, reflecting PHDT’s dedication to operational excellence across all levels.
