A comprehensive health screening programme was successfully conducted at Pussella Estate, Pussella, with the participation of 72 individuals on 24/09/2024. The event was a collaborative effort organized by the Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS) Ratnapura, in partnership with the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) Kuruwita and the Primary Medical Care Unit (PMCU). The programme was facilitated by the Plantation Human Development Trust (PHDT) Ratnapura regional office.

Participants were provided with essential health services, including screenings for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), general health check-ups, and consultations with healthcare professionals.

This initiative reflects the commitment of health authorities and supporting organizations to improving the well-being of estate communities through proactive healthcare measures.
