Children’s Day was joyfully celebrated with CDC children and estate resident children across four Regional Plantation Companies (RPCs), namely Dammeria B – HPL, Uvakelie – MPL, Telbedda – BPL, and Queenstown – MVPL. The programme was enriched with a variety of activities such as
Little Artist – Art & Craft Corner
Dress Up & Role Play – What I want to be when I grow up
I am Special – Medal & Crown Making
Meaningful parental discussions after each session
All participants were served nutritious and healthy meals, adding further value to the event. The celebrations were made successful with the dedicated efforts of Superintendents, EMAs, PFWOs, and CDOs, while the guidance from the Director – Health ensured a meaningful experience for the children. Coordination was effectively carried out by the Regional Director in collaboration with the estates. The gatherings were graced by the presence and addresses of the Manager – Health, Community Development Officers, and Engineering Assistants representing PHDT, along with key estate personalities who encouraged and blessed the children. The enthusiasm, creativity, parental involvement, and community spirit together made this celebration truly memorable for our little stars.
