The Director General (DG) as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with decades of experience in the Plantation sector spearheads the organization, inspiring the employees at all levels in both the Main & Regional Offices to achieve the strategic objectives and achieve excellence in performance to meet stakeholder expectations.
He is backed by a professional team of Executive and Regional Directors responsible for key divisions and sectors to guide the staff under their supervision to successfully meet the challenges.
The DG conducts monthly & quarterly meetings with the Executives and Regional Directors and also the Management staff to review progress and plan for the future. He also visits the Regions on a regular basis and participates in programmes, visiting Estates and projects with the Regional Directors and staff guiding, supervising and monitoring the teams.

Senior Director Administration & HR
This Administration and HR Divisions are headed by a Director, who has over thirty year experience as a Senior Officer on administration, human resource development, decision making, HR planning, Managerial & Coordination etc., in the plantation sector.
The function of Administration, Human Resource Development, Transport, Stores and Premises of both Head Office and Regional Offices are handled by the above division and the team consists of capable Managers, Executives & support staff.
Under his guidance, The Mobilization team with the Regional Social Mobilizers and supporting staff, provide their services to Sustain EWHCS network and the plantation community by conducting training and community awareness programmes.
The Finance and IT Divisions are headed by a qualified Finance professional who is possessed with experience over two decades in Corporate Finance and Banking. He is also a Post Graduate Diploma Holder in Corporate Business Finance & Banking with local and foreign Training. He is supported by a team of professionals and the division is responsible for the Financial & Management Accounting / Reporting, Treasury & Risk Management, Internal Controls and Corporate Finance.
He also guides the Manger – Information Technology and their professionally and technically qualified staff in the IT divisions. The Information Technology (IT) division is providing all Software, Hardware, Network facilities and also transmission of accurate information, professional presentations and New developments.
The Engineering division is headed by an incorporated engineer and a member of institute of incorporated engineers, who has 35 years of experience as Director – Civil Engineering in Sri Lanka Air Force on contract Administration, project implementation, Project Planning, Project coordinating and also interaction with external agencies such as Ministry, Departments, Donor etc. The Engineering division is consisting of Project Managers, Technical officers, Quantity surveyors, draftsmen and supporting staff who are well qualified and experienced in areas of responsibilities. The engineering division is proven as a very capable team over a period of approximately 20 years.
Consultant Marketing / Project Coordinating Consultant
The Marketing divisions are headed by the Marketing Consultant who is professionally qualified and responsible for introducing new fund raising initiatives.
He is the Project Coordinating Consultant of Early Childhood Development Project (ECDP) which funded by the World Bank. Under this project they are training Child Development Officers (CDOs) and construction new Child Development Centers (CDCs) and New Play areas.
The Health Division is headed by the Director Health who served in Ministry of Health for 30 years in various stations and opted to public health & Health Administration service. As the Director Health, he is ensure health of the Plantation community, improving the living standards and Health states by activities to reduced Maternal Deaths, Infant moralities, Promote Maternal Health clinics.
